How much does a certified translation of a birth certificate cost for USCIS?

$25 per page. A one-page Uzbek or Russian birth certificate is $25 certified, which is the tier USCIS requires: the full English translation plus the translator's signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). Each additional page of the original adds $25. There is no separate certification or formatting fee, and the exact total appears on the order page before you pay.

What does a 3-page translation cost, certified and notarized?

Three pages are $75 certified ($25 × 3) or $105 certified and notarized ($35 × 3). With 12-hour rush (+$15 per page) the same three pages are $120 certified or $150 notarized. A page is one page of the original document, up to 250 words.

Can I get a certified translation the same day?

Rush service delivers in 12 hours for +$15 per page. Standard delivery is 24 hours on orders up to three pages. Longer documents get a firm delivery date by email as soon as we open the file. If your deadline is shorter than 12 hours, call (929) 355-5551 before ordering.

Do I need a certified translation or a notarized translation?

For USCIS, certified is enough: the regulation asks for the translator's signed certification and does not mention notarization. Courts, the DMV, banks, schools and consulates often ask for a notarized translation, and an apostille always requires one. If you are unsure, ask the office that will receive the document which one it wants. We cannot decide that for you. See certified vs notarized.

How much is an apostille on a translated document, and how long does it take?

$300 on top of the translation, 5–8 business days. That price includes the county clerk and New York Department of State fees and is filed in person. An apostille needs the notarized tier ($35 per page). Example: a one-page birth certificate translated, notarized and apostilled is $335; with a mailed wet-signed hard copy (+$15) it is $350. We apostille the notarized translation made in New York — only the issuing country can apostille the foreign original.

How do you count pages?

One page is one page of the original document, up to 250 words. You choose the page count on the order page and the total is calculated on screen from it. Seals, stamps, marginal notes and the reverse side are all translated.

Can I walk in to your office in Brooklyn?

Yes. Certified Translation Center is at 2393 Coney Island Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11223, open Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 7:00pm. Most clients order online instead: upload a scan or a phone photo, pay, and receive a digitally signed PDF by email.

I live outside New York. Can I still order?

Yes. Orders are taken online from all fifty states and delivered as a digitally signed PDF by email. If you need a paper original, a printed, wet-signed and sealed copy is mailed by USPS with tracking for +$15. Remote online notarization is available for clients outside New York, except when the document needs an apostille, which is done in wet ink.

Which languages do you translate?

Uzbek into English and Russian into English, including Cyrillic-script Uzbek and Russian-language documents issued in Uzbekistan, at the same per-page rate. For any other language, call (929) 355-5551 before ordering.

What happens if USCIS or another agency rejects the translation?

If a U.S. agency, court or institution rejects our translation because of the translation itself, we correct and re-issue it at no charge, and refund you in full if that does not resolve it. The guarantee is written into the Terms of Service.

Can you tell me which documents I need for my green card or citizenship case?

No. We are a translation and notarial services provider, not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice. Which documents your case needs is a question for an immigration attorney or the agency itself. For a free legal referral in New York, call the Office for New Americans at 1-800-566-7636. Once you know which documents are required, we translate them.
