Frequently asked
Do you translate for people outside New York?
Yes. Most of our online orders come from outside Brooklyn. You upload a photo or scan, pay online, and we email the signed certified translation as a PDF. Single documents are ready in 24 hours (12-hour rush +$15/page). You never need to visit our office.
Is your translation accepted in California, Florida, Texas or my state?
For USCIS, yes: USCIS applies one federal rule, 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3), in every state - a full English translation plus the translator’s signed certification of competence and accuracy. Our certified translation meets it wherever you live. State offices, courts, schools and licensing boards generally accept a certified translation with a signed certificate; if yours asks for notarization, choose the $35 notarized tier. If an office rejects a document over our translation, we fix it free or refund you in full.
Is the price different for other states?
No. It is the same everywhere: $25 per page certified, $35 per page certified and notarized, delivered by email. A mailed hard copy with wet ink and embossed seal is +$15, sent USPS tracked.
Can a New York notary notarize a translation I use in another state?
Yes. Our New York notary notarizes the translator’s signature on the certificate. Notarial acts performed in one state are generally recognized in the other states, and USCIS does not require notarization at all.
How do I get a paper copy?
Tick ’Mailed hard copy’ on the order page (+$15). We mail the signed original with an embossed seal by USPS tracked mail to any US address. The PDF comes by email either way.
