Six steps, most of which are ours. Yours takes about two minutes.
1. Send us the document
Use the order page, or email the files to orders@certifiedtranslationcenter.com. A phone photo is completely fine — you do not need a scanner, and you do not need to flatten the document or crop it. What we do need:
- Every page, including the reverse side if anything is printed or stamped there
- All four corners visible, in focus, without a finger over the seal
- The spelling of every personal name exactly as it appears on the passport, so our transliteration matches your other filings
- Who the translation is for — USCIS, a court, a university, a consulate — because that determines which certificate we issue
2. You see the price and pay
Your browser counts the pages of the PDF you uploaded — the file does not have to leave your computer for that — and the total appears on screen straight away at $25 a page certified or $35 notarized, plus anything you tick for rush, apostille or a mailed hard copy. You pay there and then by card, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay or Klarna. There is no waiting on an emailed quote and no invoice to chase.
The price is firm. If the count turns out to be lower once we open the files we refund the difference without being asked; if it is higher we tell you the extra cost and wait for your yes, and you can cancel for a full refund instead.
3. Translation and review
A native speaker of the source language produces the translation, working from your original rather than from any English version you may already have. This matters more than it sounds: client-supplied English drafts routinely drop dates, patronymics and registry numbers, and translating from them propagates the gaps.
The draft then goes to a second linguist for a review pass against the original, checking completeness first and phrasing second. Every seal, stamp, serial number, marginal note and signature block has to be accounted for on the English page. Illegible text is marked [illegible] rather than guessed at.
The layout is rebuilt to mirror the original page for page, so a reviewing officer can lay the two side by side and match line to line.
4. Certification and notarization
The translator signs a Certificate of Translation Accuracy naming the document, affirming fluency in both languages and attesting that the translation is complete and accurate. For court work we issue the litigation version, which names the individual translator and states their specific qualifications.
On the $35 notarized tier, the translator then swears that certificate before a notary public — a different person from the translator, always, since a notary may not notarize their own signature or a document in which they have an interest. The notary applies a jurat and seal.
5. Delivery
You receive a print-ready PDF by email within 24 hours of your order, containing the copy of the original, the translation and the signed certificate, in that order, ready to print and file. Hard copies with wet ink and an embossed seal ship the same day for $15 if you need physical originals.
If an apostille is part of the order, the wet-ink packet then goes to the county clerk and the New York Department of State, filed in person, and the sealed original comes back to you overnight, tracked.
6. If anything goes wrong
Send us the rejection notice. If a U.S. agency, court or institution rejects our translation on the basis of the translation itself, we correct and re-issue it at no charge, and if that does not resolve it we refund you in full. We act on rejection notices the same business day.
Your documents. Files are handled only by the translator, the reviewer and the notary assigned to your order. We do not use public machine-translation services on client documents. Source files are deleted 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them for a follow-on filing.

Certified translation: $25 per page. Includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy — this is what USCIS asks for under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3).
Certified + notarized: $35 per page. A separate commissioned New York notary notarizes the translator's signature. Courts, the DMV, banks, schools and insurers sometimes ask for this; USCIS does not.
Rush, 12-hour delivery: +$15 per page. Standard delivery is 24 hours on orders up to three pages and is already included.
Worked examples. Certified: 1 page $25, 2 pages $50, 3 pages $75, 5 pages $125. Certified and notarized: 1 page $35, 2 pages $70, 3 pages $105, 5 pages $175. A New York apostille adds $300 and a mailed hard copy adds $15; both are chosen at checkout.
It says estimated because the page count sets the price. A page means one page of the original document, up to 250 words. Add your files on the order page and we count the pages for you, then check by hand before starting — if the count differs we tell you before charging anything.
