Arabic Driver’s License Translation
A certified Arabic driver’s license translation into English for USCIS costs $25 per page at Certified Translation Center in Brooklyn, NY — $35 per page with a New York notary seal — and is delivered as a signed PDF within 24 hours, prepared to 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). Most driver’s licenses, front and back, are a single page. Updated October 3, 2026.
رخصة قيادة — certified, notarized and delivered in 24 hours from $25 a page ($35 with notarization).
Certified English translation of the Arabic driver’s license (رخصة قيادة), accepted by USCIS, courts, universities and credential evaluators. $25 per page certified for USCIS, or $35 per page with notarization included, delivered in 24 hours.
What this document looks like
A driver’s license (رخصة قيادة) is usually a plastic card showing the holder’s details, issue and expiry dates, the issuing authority, and the vehicle categories authorised — the categories being the part that actually matters to a DMV or an insurer.
Arabic is translated by a professional Arabic→English translator who signs the Certificate of Translation Accuracy. The English layout mirrors the original’s structure even though Arabic reads right to left; seals are noted as [Seal: …]. Eastern Arabic digits (٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩) are converted digit by digit and ID and record numbers are double-checked. Hijri dates (هـ) are translated as written, with the Gregorian equivalent added in a bracketed translator’s note. Names follow the spelling in your passport — send a photo of the passport page or type the spelling in the order notes.
If your document is bilingual (Arabic/French, as in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Lebanon, or Arabic/English), say so in the order notes: USCIS needs a full translation of both parts, and we confirm before starting.
What has to appear in the translation
A certified translation must be complete — 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) asks for a “full English language translation”, so we translate everything: stamps, seals, handwritten notes and the back side. For this document in particular, these are the elements most often left out:
- The reverse side, which often carries the category table or restrictions — a license translated from the front only may be useless to a DMV
- Category or class designations translated as printed, not converted to U.S. classes
- Issue and expiry dates (Hijri dates with the Gregorian equivalent in a translator’s note), and any restriction codes
- The license number exactly as printed
Send the reverse side. Corrections, endorsements and later stamps live on the back of the page far more often than people expect. If the back is blank, tell us it is blank — that way we both know it was checked.
Who needs this translated
State DMV licence exchange and applications, car rental and insurance, international driving permit applications, and employment requiring a driving history.

Frequently asked
How much does it cost to translate an Arabic driver’s license?
$25 per page for a certified translation (translation + signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy — what USCIS requires), or $35 per page certified and notarized (a separate commissioned New York notary notarizes the translator’s signature). Most driver’s licenses, front and back, are a single page.
Is $25–$35 a page more expensive than other certified translation services?
For the certified translation USCIS asks for, our $25 a page sits in the middle of the market and includes the signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy that some lower prices leave out. For a notarized page — what courts, consulates and many schools want — $35 covers the translation, the certificate, notarization of the translator’s signature by a New York notary and 24-hour delivery on single documents, which is below every provider in our comparison that charges a separate notary fee (prices checked September 10, 2026).
Does USCIS require the translation to be notarized?
No. 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) requires a full English translation plus the translator's signed certification of completeness, accuracy and competence. Notarization is not required by USCIS. If you need it — consulates, courts and schools abroad often do — choose the notarized tier at $35 a page, where a separate commissioned New York notary notarizes the translator's signature.
Who translates Arabic documents?
A professional Arabic→English translator, who signs the Certificate of Translation Accuracy stating competence in both languages and that the translation is complete and accurate, as 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) requires. Orders for Arabic documents are handled online and by email.
Can I send a photo taken with my phone?
Yes. Make sure all four corners are in the frame, nothing covers a seal, and you photograph the reverse side as well if anything is printed or stamped there.
How fast will I get it?
24 hours as standard. Rush 12-hour service is available for an extra $15 per page.
Do I need to submit the original along with the translation?
Yes. The regulation requires the foreign-language document to accompany the translation. We deliver the packet already assembled in the correct order — copy of the original, translation, signed certificate.

"Not published" means no notarization price appears anywhere on their site. Prices change; verify with each provider before relying on this. We compare price and stated inclusions only, not quality. What you get here that a price table does not show
- An office in Brooklyn — 2393 Coney Island Ave, Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00. Arabic orders are handled online and by email; the office staff speak English, Uzbek and Russian.
- Arabic is translated by a professional Arabic→English translator who signs the Certificate of Translation Accuracy — Hijri dates, Eastern Arabic digits and passport name spellings handled as described above.
- Notarization at one price — the translator signs the Certificate of Translation Accuracy, and when you order the $35 notarized tier a separate commissioned New York notary notarizes that signature.
- 24 hours standard, 12-hour rush, and a written acceptance guarantee: rejected on the translation itself → corrected free, refunded if that fails.

It says estimated because the page count sets the price. A page means one page of the original document, up to 250 words. Add your files on the order page and we count the pages for you, then check by hand before starting — if the count differs we tell you before charging anything.
